ABOUT ME

About Me
I am a strong believer that parents/guardians are a child's first and most influential teachers.  It's an honor to have the opportunity to partner with you as you work to teach your child!

I am a wife and mom of 5 children in a beautiful, blended family.  We love spending time together and our kiddos are involved in a variety of sports and other activities.  For fun we enjoy renovating our home, playing games, and having movie nights!  I love to read and often have multiple books going at the same time.  I am passionate about people and serving those around me!

I spent 18 years as a teacher in an elementary classroom and enjoyed every moment of my time with hundreds of children and their families over the years!  This experience, along with being a mom, has shaped my passion for serving families as they work to meet the needs of their children.  My knowledge and know-how has been built out of years of trying new things, making lots of mistakes (and asking for lots of forgiveness), mixed with my love of research and learning!  I don't come to you from a place of someone who "has it all figured out" but instead, a place of excitement to share what I do know and a love for learning and figuring out solutions to challenges.

I have been where you are!  I know what it feels like to be tired, overwhelmed, and feel in over your head.  But, it doesn't' have to stay like that!  Together we can find solutions and create a plan that will work for your unique family and situation.
